My Artistic World

My paintings invite you to discover a world that feels good to be in.

I find joy in simple things: music, nature, everyday work, travel and a cup of tea. Through painting, I hope to lift the spirit and recall moments of calm, lightness and closeness to one another.

Between nature and imagination

In the world I create, people fly, swing, sail, work and rest. Gardens become towns; treetops turn into homes and stages for music. Everyday life meets imagination, and nature becomes a place in which we can discover ourselves.

I give my characters no individual facial features: any of them could be any of us. They are dressed for the occasion because, for them, life is a celebration. What matters to me is the feeling of being together, movement and our relationship with our surroundings.

Gardens, music and small celebrations

I find much of my inspiration in the countryside, watching the seasons, trees and people at work. I am drawn to the natural rhythm of life: flowering, ripening, rest and a new beginning. In my paintings, these impressions meet memories of travel and my imagination.

Music, tea, swings and journeys return again and again. They remind us that a celebration can begin with something small: a conversation, a melody or time simply to be.

Depth of colour and the texture of brushstrokes

I paint in oils on canvas, combining thin, translucent glazes with thicker, textured brushstrokes. Together, they create luminous colour, depth and a surface that reveals itself when viewed up close.

Small details invite you to slow down. I hope each viewer will discover a story of their own and, on returning, notice something they missed the first time.

My painting is a language of inner experience and my relationship with life.
